Manager’s note – I am going to respond to the most frequent question we receive: “Why do you charge $100 for a plastic set?”.

First of all, it is not plastic – it is metal coated with special polymer. Metal ensures quadruple weight and coating provides nice color muffling annoying clinking sound.  Second, the production is almost hand made – it is time consuming to produce a set that will withstand the abuse. This set will last you a lifetime – the weights will never fall out and the pieces’ design ensures their durability. Unlike wooden and plastic pieces, which gets dirty quickly, our polimer shell is so hard that the pieces look brand new for months. It is a professional set – amateurs buy Fischer Ultimate set, which IS plastic.
